Personal Lines Advisor

As a Personal Lines Advisor you will be involved in the full client lifecycle from quotation to renewal and, with our support, will offer the highest standards of customer care to meet service, customer satisfaction and commercial targets.
Everything Digney Grant Insurance does is about expert personal service, so you will pride yourself on your ability to develop relationships with prospective new customers and to manage and grow the business with existing clients while maintaining regulatory compliance at all times.
Experience in the industry and being qualified (or working towards a qualification) in insurance (CII or above) would be a definite advantage in applying for this role.
However, we are more interested in applicants with the right mindset, who can demonstrate their achievement of commercial targets and their dedication to exceptional customer service in any field.
Personal Lines Advisors will manage the accurate administration of customer accounts on a day to day basis, acting as support to Account Executives and Account Managers. You will work with Account Executives on new business development including liaising with prospects, negotiating with underwriters and ensuring compliance with FCA and PRA guidelines at all times.
The role will require a high level of personal organisation and time management skills and the ability to efficiently deal with your workload in a fast-paced environment.
You will be an approachable, organised and professional individual with an ambition to grow your career in the insurance industry.
You will preferably have at least two years’ experience in the insurance industry and have attained or will be currently working towards your CII qualification.
If you are not currently working in the insurance sector, you may still apply for this role but you should be able to demonstrate your experience in customer service and your ability to meet commercial targets and service standards.
You should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade ‘C’ or above and be fully computer literate. Exceptions to this requirement may be made for exceptional individuals with a high level of relevant experience.
